Found on the IDSF webpage:
On behalf of the IDSF Presidium, we kindly inform you that the 2009 Dutch Open Assen event is a registered event by our IDSF Member Body in The Netherlands (NADB) and therefore, an Open Competition for all IDSF Athletes who are registered in the IDSF Registration System. Any dancer/couple that does not want to be registered in the IDSF Registration System will not be allowed to enter the competitions.
Is it on me or do I only misunderstand this IDSF release.
The Dutch Open has lost it's open status and is now open only to those who agree with IDSF and it's system. If you don't accept it, you may not compete.
I now think of all those couples from the last years who were not allowed to dance the Dutch Open because they were IDSF and IDSF threatened with sanctions. They left IDSF and the national member bodies because they wanted to free in dancing. But now even these couples may not compete in Assen again if they don't want to be again in IDSF system.
As said before, maybe it's only on me and I don't understand the meaning of the IDSF release. So if I'm wrong please tell me the true meaning.
Plese help.........
