I think it is extremely good of IDSF to promote on their website the WDC AL Open World Amateur Championship.

O.K. it is supposed to be a threat against competing/judging/involvement but as the saying goes "there is no such thing as bad publicity". 

When will IDSF learn?  They tried and failed in 2008 and most assuredly will fail again in 2009.

The numbers opposed to their version of Dancesport administration are growing.

onyourtoes..................it seems to me that more and more countries from different continents  are appearing on that IDSF list or on IDSF member websites. 

What does this mean? 

Very simply that the WDC AL is making advances and more and more countries/competitors  are wishing to join in and be a part of truly Open competitions.  Great news for dance competitors and dancesport in general.  No wonder there is a sense of desperation in the IDSF "banning department".
